Instagram

I am probably going to abandon this neglected blog. I have so many unblogged projects because I don't get around to taking decent photos and blogging them.

If you wanna see what I'm making (Dad) you can follow me on Instagram. (See the button on the right hand side.)

Grainline Moss Mini

My "Coffee Moss"...

I think I may make 6 more of these skirts so I can wear one every day.

Fabric from Spotlight and I used less than 1m. I french seamed the pockets which was easy and worth the extra 5 mins or so.

First attempt at fly zipper and I think it looks pretty good :)

Hemmed with bias binding.

Nearly finished some Maritime shorts plus have 2 more finished items to take photos of. 2014 has been very productive so far!

Fabric from Saffron Craig.

Two for some 3 year olds:

Two for some sisters:

More Saffron Craig fabric.

Two more in the pipeline to come...

Finished quilt

Finished the quilt for Harry's friend.

It is the Heather Ross fabric collection Briar Rose. Perfect for a little girl who likes strawberries.

The backing is a vintage sheet that her Mum has had for years.

I straight line quilted it and machine stitched the binding.

Everyone is happy with the result :)

Baby presents

Here's a few gifts I have made for friends with newborn babies.

I used the Made By Rae Newborn Pants pattern. It is free and super duper easy.

A little boy, Caleb:

A boy, Freddy and girl, Maddy. They're not twins but their mummies are good friends and they were born within a few weeks of each other.

I used my alphabet stamps to print their names on twill tape.
